LEKKER

At LEKKER, my role was to kick off their creative offering in Australia, everything made in Aus was used globally, we’re talking shop fronts in Berlin, socials in U.S.A, OOH in Europe and plenty more. I reported directly to the CMO based in Amsterdam and worked alongside the ops and sales teams on the ground.

But I wasn’t just a creative, small place = a lot a roles. I was also the marketing department, I produced all my own shoots, I designed all my own artwork, I even taught myself how to animate. Plus handling the marketing finances too. We turned LEKKER from a functional brand to a lifestyle brand, pushing the joy and freedom of riding to inner-city professionals.

Due to the nature of the business, we didn’t really produce campaigns, instead we worked with local photographers and videographers to create a bank of assets which could be used going forward. These images and videos became the base for any comms we needed - think EOFY sales, websites, store imagery, etc.

I wrote plenty too, including the brand’s first TOV and implemented it across all owned and paid channels.

That bank of assets also turned into work like this - a campaign designed for PTV rest stops, pointing out the reasons why public transport is actually the wrong choice.
